HOW TO FIND US

By car

From Exeter – take the A38 towards Plymouth. After passing the Plymouth 17 miles sign take the next exit for Ugborough and Loddiswell. After about ½ mile go straight on at the crossroads. At California Cross, pass the garage and bear left signposted Bigbury on Sea. At the next crossroads (Harraton Cross), cross over the A379 on to the B3392. After about 1 mile take a right hand turn signposted Kingston. Go straight on ignoring signs for Kingston and turn right where signposted Torr and Wonwell Beach. At the crossroads go straight over and Hooppells Torr is the pink farmhouse about 50 meters on the right. 

By train

Totnes is our nearest mainline station and is less than 3 hours from London Paddington. The station is about 16 miles from Hooppells Torr. Please let us know if we can arrange a taxi for you.

On foot

The Westcombe and Wonwell section of the South West Coast Path runs through Kingston village and across Wonwell beach. Hooppells Torr is a 10 minute walk from the starting point at the Church of St James the Less. Do let us know if you are using a baggage transfer service.

by air

Our closest airports are Exeter Airport (50 minute drive) and Bristol Airport (two hour drive). We can also be reached from London's main international airports Heathrow (3 and a half hour drive) and Gatwick (4 hour drive).
