Mindful Walking

Mindful walking

Each Step through the deserted gate, full of ripened leaves, I follow the small path. Earth is as red as as a child’s lips. Suddenly, I am aware of each step I make. -Thich Nhat Hanh

What to expect

An hour-long session in our secluded garden and grounds, connecting to nature and restoring the balance within. This simple practice is one of deep relaxation, restoring calm and quiet and observing nature around us. Mindful walking can help de-stress and boost wellbeing in a natural way.

The guided walk begins in the garden where we make our way to a meditation bench with stunning views of Dartmoor. Here we sit and ground ourselves, take a few deep breaths go within. The short meditation is then followed by a silent, meditative walk through the garden and grounds absorbing the local surroundings, flora and fauna with the purpose of connecting to nature, ourselves and bringing ourselves back into balance. We end our walk in a sacred grove in gratitude and silence. Tea/coffee provided in the garden with an opportunity for questions and discussion.

(£35 per person, group or individual, please email Jeeva for further details).
